- The mission of the Ethiopian Animal Feed Industry Association is to improve the quality and quantity of livestock feed production and services for the members.

- To improve the productivity and profitability of the members and contribute to the development of Ethiopia’s agriculture sector.
Objectives
- To engage in activities designed to enhance understanding and cooperation between the members and the public sector regarding animal feed industry needs;
- To organize and provide members with technical assistance, education, training, marketing information;
- Improve the quality and availability of necessary production inputs;
- Enhance the availability of credit and insurance to members;
- Improve members’ business management, record keeping and business operation skills;
- Organize meetings, seminars and workshops to create a strong cooperation among the members and partners;
- Make the development of the industry be associated with the improvement of the income of the members;
